All the money made from my shop goes to the NIH Children's Inn and the Michele Dufault Fund. Please go to my profile for more information.
These are origami lucky star necklaces, with 6 stars per jar. Colors may be customized to any color seen above. There are solid colors, and pastel colors. The strips on the left in the last picture are solid, while the ones on the right are pastel.

Pastel Colors are similar to Solid colors, the only difference is that they are a little lighter and made with a slightly translucent piece of paper.
The Chinese Lucky Stars, or Dream Stars were meant for good luck, and each color has a specific charm to it; Origami has been a traditional gift of friendship and love for thousands of years. Certain colors carry certain meanings.
Pink: Happiness, tenderness, best friends and sweet hearts.
Dark Orange/ Orange: Enthusiasm and Energy
Yellow: Freedom and Joy
Darker Green/ Light Green: Healing, luck and wealth
Darker Blue/ Blue: Honor and faith
Purple: Nobility and Courtly Love. Elegance and Wine
White(Only in Pastel Colors): Hope, innocence and purity.

The jars are extremely light, and water tight. They measure 60 x 12 mm and are perfect Gifts.
The jar is hung on a leather cord with a lobster clasp.
I also allow customizations if you would like to change the colors or color order.

How do you make these stars? My cousin sent me some purple ones, but I have no idea how to make them!

That's a very cute idea. I've only been using jars. I really want to make one myself, or maybe earrings like this. Where do you get the vials to put them in?
